Railway Vehicle and Component Manufacturing
At our Pamukova facilities covering 8,000 m² enclosed and 16,000 m² total area, railway vehicle bodies, bogie frames and critical steel components are manufactured under EN 15085-2 CL1 welding standards.
Manufacturing Capabilities and Production
DMU / EMU
BCY carries out the manufacturing of complete vehicle bodies, chassis and load-bearing structures for DMU and EMU vehicles, including body assembly and installation activities. In addition to the main vehicle structures, various welded subassemblies and metal components used throughout the vehicle are also included within the manufacturing scope.
LRV / Tram
BCY manufactures complete vehicle bodies, chassis and load-bearing structures for light rail vehicles and trams, together with body assembly and installation works. Various welded subassemblies and metal components forming part of the vehicle body are also included within the manufacturing scope.
Passenger Coaches
BCY carries out the manufacturing of complete bodies, chassis and structural frameworks for various types of passenger coaches, including suburban, seated, dining and sleeping coaches, as well as body assembly and installation works. In addition to the main load-bearing structures, interior structural elements and various vehicle subassemblies are also included within the manufacturing scope.
Freight Wagons
BCY manufactures and assembles complete bodies, main chassis and load-bearing structures for freight wagons designed for different operational purposes. Manufacturing capabilities include bodies, platforms, side walls and end walls for various wagon types such as ore wagons, platform wagons, container wagons, tank wagons and grain wagons.
Locomotives
BCY carries out the manufacturing and assembly of large-scale welded structures for locomotives, including complete main chassis, body structures and driver cabs. Various welded modules and metal subassemblies forming part of the locomotive body are also included within the manufacturing scope.
Bogie Frames and Bolsters
BCY manufactures complete bogie frames, bolsters and related load-bearing structures used in railway vehicles. In addition to the main welded assemblies forming the bogie structure, traction transoms and various bogie components are also included within the manufacturing capabilities.
Interior Trim and Cladding
BCY carries out the manufacturing and installation of interior trim and cladding systems for passenger and technical areas of railway vehicles. The scope includes ceiling and side wall panels, interior partitions, technical access panels, WC areas and various interior components.
Underframe and Roof-Mounted Equipment
BCY manufactures underframe and roof-mounted equipment used on railway vehicles. This product group includes stainless steel and carbon steel water tanks, battery boxes, cable ducts, HVAC trays, equipment enclosures, support brackets, mounting structures and various welded metal components for different applications.
